    Brief introduction
      BS-1C-1  is an organic derivative of bentonite clay. This Rheology Modifieris designed for low to  medium polarity organic solvent system, such as mineral oil, paraffin oil, toluene, xylene, 200# solvent oil. The performance of BS-1A is similar to Claytone40, Bentone 34 and Bentone 38.

    　　   BS-1C-1 organic bentonite as thickener, anti-settling agent and rheological agent,is widely used in the field of mixed paint, floor paint, marine paint, anti-corrosion paint, adhesive glue, powder coating and so on.
      BS-1C-1  is added and dispersed in the solvent under high shear, a chemical activator can then be introduced to optimize gelation. For incorporation in the full formulation the pregel is added to the resin/solvent mixture with stirring. Pigments and fillers are then incorporated and dispersed under high shear. The chemical activators can be methanol/H2O（95/5）, ethanol/H2O（95/5）, propylene carbonate, or acetone.
